The Avro Arrow replica project in Malton is a tribute to Canada’s most famous aeronautical achievement and the community that built it. The opening of the Malton Youth Hub, also known as the Jonathan Davis Centre, represents a massive investment in the future of young people in the community. This 18,000-square-foot facility was created through a clever renovation of the old, unused swimming pool at Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School. By transforming a vacant space into a high-tech center for teenagers and young adults between the ages of 12 and 25, the city has provided a safe and modern place for residents to learn new skills and hang out with friends.
